LGBTQ+ Wedding at Cattows Farm - Jacob & Chris
Wow, Wow, Wow! Chris and Jacob's wedding day at Cattows Farm in Leicestershire was simply wonderful.
A field with a magnificent tree and stone circle, it was the perfect venue for Chris and Jacob's DIY wedding - especially for Jacob who openly admitted he wanted to plan and be in control of everything!
And in control of everything he was - from the dance floor, to the band, to the flowers and even the toilets! The entire place was transformed to celebrate the love of the new Mr and Mr Watson-Shields.
Yes, it was a little windy, a little chilly & a little rainy, but that didn't dampen the spirits of Chris, Jacob and their loved ones. As they walked down the aisle towards me, hand-in-hand and beaming from ear to ear, I smiled on ready to lead their bespoke ceremony.
Wedding Celebrant for Queer Couples in the East Midlands
A ceremony full of love, many a joke, and only a few nods to Dr Who and Star Trek and in the newlywed's words 'the nerd wall on their staircase'. And there were only a few hiccups along the way... Jacob's Dad left the rings in the car!
Congratulations Chris and Jacob. You are genuinely brilliant together and you deserve the lifetime of happiness, it is so clear you will create together - for yourselves and for each other.
"Lisa's warmth and authenticity shone through in every aspect of our ceremony. She crafted a personalised service that beautifully captured our love story, incorporating anecdotes and details that truly reflected who we are. Her thoughtful approach made our ceremony feel not just like an event, but a genuine celebration of our love surrounded by family and friends"
